Proofpoint is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to build and scale our agentic AI platform, including runtimes, MCP access, and evaluation tooling used by product teams across the company. You’ll work with engineers, security researchers and product tech leads to advance frontier AI capabilities.

You’ll absorb new models, establish best practices, and demonstrate outcomes with reference applications that others can adopt. Expect fast-paced prototyping and cross-team collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of engineering experience with hands-on work on LLM or agentic systems beyond prototype stage.
• Understanding of agentic development lifecycle: runtimes, MCP integration, memory, planning, evals, tracing, rollout/rollback.

Responsabilidades

• Build reference agentic applications end-to-end on our platform.
• Document best practices: MCP integration, prompt/context management, memory and cost/latency tradeoffs.
• Design evaluation harnesses and metrics to decide features to ship.
• Prototype rapidly and present results to teams; recommend when to pivot.
• Harden prototypes into reusable platform capabilities for product teams.
