Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to join our team building the agentic AI platform—including agent runtimes, MCP access layer, and evaluation tooling used by product teams worldwide.

You will absorb new models and frameworks quickly, establish best practices, and demonstrate them in reference applications that others will learn from and build on. Expect collaboration with engineers, security researchers, and product leads as you ship critical capabilities.

Formación

• Degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of engineering experience with hands-on work on LLM or agentic systems beyond prototypes.

Responsabilidades

• Build reference agentic applications on Proofpoint's platform, end-to-end examples of agent design, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Establish and document best practices for tool design, MCP integration, prompt/context management, memory, planning, and latency tradeoffs.
• Design evaluation harnesses—task suites, baselines, and metrics for quality, cost and latency—to guide shipping decisions.
• Turn ambiguous questions into PoCs quickly and present results to cross-team stakeholders.
• Harden prototypes into reusable platform capabilities adopted by product teams.
