Job summary

Mural is seeking a Software Engineer for Platform Engineering to build and maintain the build infrastructure for a large TypeScript and NodeJS codebase. You will collaborate with software developers and platform engineers to refine CI/CD processes and automate bottlenecks in the development pipeline.

You will design scalable platform features, ensure reliability, and help engineers across the company improve their productivity and the quality of software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining backend services
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and automation
• Proficiency with NodeJS and TypeScript ecosystems
• Hands-on with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience designing scalable API services
• Familiarity with cloud tooling (Azure) and IaC (Terraform)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the build infrastructure for a large TS/NodeJS codebase
• Collaborate with engineers to refine CI/CD processes and best practices
• Identify bottlenecks and automate pipeline improvements for faster delivery
• Develop scalable platform features ensuring reliability and availability
• Support engineers with tooling to improve productivity and quality
