Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations in a Buenos Aires area location. The role involves providing empathetic pharmacy consulting, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcome services while ensuring accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing workflow, inventory, staff performance, and training, as well as partnering with healthcare providers to expand health services and community engagement.

Formación

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree is required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the district is required.
• Experience with pharmacy operations, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and use of pharmacy software is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Engages patients with empathetic service and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and generics while ensuring privacy and accuracy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal laws, company policies, and Good Faith Dispensing practices.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff training; maintains inventory and conducts performance reviews.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems, billing, documentation, and reporting.
• Maintains relationships with local medical community to promote health services and growth opportunities.
• Manages a culture of safety, quality, and service excellence.
