AgileEngine in Mendoza, Argentina, seeks a part-time Data Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL decisions in an advisory capacity. You will weigh managed tooling against custom builds, review SageMaker-based MLOps pipelines, and mentor the team on engineering standards.

You will mentor the day-to-day infra build team, focusing on AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and data engineering practices, while reporting findings with clear risk framing to leadership.

Formación

• 6+ years hands-on AWS engineering experience required.
• Proven Terraform IaC implementation and audits.
• Experience designing or auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering background for ETL/ingestion decisions.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code) and cost governance.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills; part-time advisory capacity.

Responsabilidades

• Audit AWS architecture across live applications (ECS/ECR, RDS, S3, VPC, SageMaker).
• Review CI/CD processes and SDLC governance, recommending improvements.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for engineering quality and cost management.
• Advise on ETL/data-ingestion architecture (managed vs custom tooling).
• Mentor the infra build team in AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and data practices.
• Define technical direction and changes to the build as needed.
• Present findings and risk framing to leadership.
