AgileEngine is seeking a part-time Data Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL pipeline decisions in an advisory capacity. This role weighs managed tooling against custom builds and mentors the team on engineering standards.

You will review SageMaker-based MLOps pipelines, evaluate Claude Code usage, and shape SDLC governance with environment separation and release gating, reporting findings to leadership with clear risk assessments.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS Postgres, S3, VPC/CloudFront, IAM).
• Fluency with Infrastructure-as-code, specifically Terraform.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL/ingestion architecture opinions.
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code) from quality and cost perspectives.
• Comfortable in a part-time advisory capacity (50% to 25%).
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Audit the current AWS architecture across live applications and pipelines.
• Review CI/CD and SDLC governance, recommending environment separation and release gating.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for PR generation and automated reviews.
• Provide opinions on ETL/data ingestion architecture (managed vs. custom).
• Mentor the build team on AWS, DevOps, and data engineering practices.
• Set recommendations and technical direction after audits.
• Report findings to leadership with risk assessments.
