AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a part-time Data Engineering and Infrastructure Lead to audit AWS architecture, CI/CD processes, and ETL decisions in an advisory capacity. You will review SageMaker-based MLOps pipelines and mentor the team on engineering standards.

Strength in AWS, Terraform, and data engineering, with a focus on cost governance and AI-assisted development workflows. Flexible schedule includes remote-friendly flex-time and on-site options in Argentina.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, ECR, Postgres RDS, S3, SageMaker, VPC/ALB/CloudFront, IAM).
• Fluency with Infrastructure-as-code, Terraform.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance (e.g., schema/version control, environment separation, release gating).
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL / ingestion architecture (managed tools vs. custom builds).
• Experience evaluating AI-assisted / LLM-assisted development workflows (Claude Code) for engineering quality and cost governance.
• Ability to work in a part-time advisory capacity (50% to 25%) and mentor engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Audit the current AWS architecture across live applications (ECS/ECR, RDS Postgres, S3, VPC, SageMaker).
• Review the CI/CD process and SDLC governance, recommending environment separation and release gating.
• Evaluate Claude Code usage for output quality and cost management.
• Provide early technical opinions on ETL/data ingestion architectures (managed vs custom).
• Mentor the day-to-day infrastructure build team in AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and data practices.
• Report findings and recommendations to leadership with risk framing.
