Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking an Operations Finance Controlling Sr Specialist to join the GBS Operations Finance Team in a hybrid role across locations (Buenos Aires, Argentina or Guadalajara, Mexico). You will contribute to financial tasks, reporting, analysis and process excellence initiatives.

We value a minimum of 1 year in finance, a Bachelor's in Finance or Business Administration, solid accounting knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and SAP.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in Finance departments.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting treatment and financial statement analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collects assumptions, prepares, consolidates and reconciles submissions for cost area/scope.
• Provides reports for actuals and performs variance analysis against OB/RF.
• Performs standard financial analysis within assigned cost category.
• Creates insightful standard reports and tools for stakeholders.
• Contributes to process excellence initiatives and improves ways of working.

What You’ll Do

• Collects assumptions, prepares, consolidates and reconciles OB/RF submissions for the respective cost area/scope, using standard tools and methods
• Provide reports for actuals and performs variance analysis against OB/RF
• Conducts standard financial analysis within assigned cost category
• Proactively creating insightful standard reports & tools that meet the needs of stakeholders
• Continuously improve and innovate ways of working contributing to the GPO deliverables

Skills & Capabilities

• Highly motivated specialist with at least 1 year of experience in Finance departments.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
• Knowledgeable in accounting treatment and financial statement analysis
• A proficient user of MS Office programs, especially MS Excel
• Familiar with ERP system, especially SAP Platform.
• Fluent English Skills.
