Formación

• 2+ years of experience in PLC development or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of PLC programming concepts and control systems.
• Experience with major PLC ecosystems such as Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, or Schneider Electric.
• Experience analyzing and modernizing legacy industrial systems.
• Understanding of software architecture, refactoring practices, and migration projects.
• Strong problem-solving and system integration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.
• Ability to work effectively in international cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze PLC-based solutions and legacy implementations for modernization opportunities.
• Support re-architecture initiatives transitioning legacy PLC-centric systems to modern frameworks.
• Refactor monolithic and poorly documented legacy code into modular, reusable architectures.
• Apply object-oriented programming concepts within modern industrial automation environments.
• Optimize memory mapping, UDTs, and tag structures to improve maintainability and performance.
• Design and implement standardized state-machine approaches, including PackML-based models.
• Collaborate with Wind River and customer stakeholders to understand requirements and migration objectives.
• Contribute to system integration, design reviews, modernization planning, and technical recommendations.

We are actively seeking a Middle Embedded Engineer (Industrial Automation/Embedded) to strengthen our team working on large-scale industrial automation modernization initiatives. Your primary responsibility will involve analyzing existing PLC-based systems, supporting migration strategies, and contributing to the re-architecture of legacy industrial solutions into scalable and maintainable technology frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex modernization programs while expanding your expertise in industrial software transformation, system integration, and automation technologies.

Core skills you’ll bring

• 2+ years of experience in PLC development or industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming concepts and industrial control systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major PLC ecosystem, including Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Beckhoff, or Schneider Electric.
• Experience analyzing and modernizing legacy industrial systems.
• Understanding of software architecture, refactoring practices, and migration projects.
• Strong problem-solving and system integration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.
