Avenga in Buenos Aires seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design and deploy Generative AI solutions that deliver measurable business value. You will build robust, scalable AI applications, integrate LLM capabilities into products, and design RAG architectures with vector databases and semantic search.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams, driving technical leadership and AI innovation while ensuring security and observability in production environments.

Formación

• 8–10+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong foundation in Software Engineering and AI principles.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude).
• Experience designing and implementing RAG solutions with vector databases.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, FastAPI.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
• Cloud expertise in Azure and AWS, including storage.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform.
• Experience with API integrations and agent-based frameworks for automation.
• Advanced Prompt Engineering techniques, embeddings, and optimization.
• Understanding of AI security best practices.

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and backend development in Python. The role involves designing and deploying RAG architectures, integrating LLM capabilities into enterprise platforms, and ensuring scalability, security, and observability in production environments.

This is you

• 8–10+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong foundation in Software Engineering and AI principles.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude).
• Experience designing and implementing RAG solutions with vector databases (FAISS, ChromaDB, Azure AI Search).
• Advanced proficiency in Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, FastAPI.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
• Cloud expertise in Azure and AWS, including storage (Blob, S3).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform.
• Experience with API integrations and agent-based frameworks for automation.
• Advanced Prompt Engineering techniques, embeddings, and optimization.
• Understanding of AI security best practices (access control, input sanitization, prompt injection prevention).

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Event Hub.
• Exposure to enterprise AI solutions (Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini).
