Job summary

Avenga is seeking a Middle Automation QA Engineer to strengthen our QA team focused on banking solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, and execute functional and regression tests to ensure product quality.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to validate requirements and deliver reliable releases. You will improve automation frameworks using Python, pytest, and Playwright, implement Page Object Model patterns, and

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Python for test automation development.
• Strong knowledge of pytest and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright.
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Page Object Model (POM) frameworks and fixtures.
• Strong experience executing regression tests and validating application functionality.
• Experience performing defect analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and banking platforms.
• Execute functional, manual, and regression testing activities to validate product quality.
• Analyze, document, and track defects while working closely with development teams on issue resolution.
• Improve and maintain automation frameworks using Python, pytest, and Playwright.
• Develop reusable test components utilizing Page Object Model and fixture-based approaches.
• Validate new features, system enhancements, and production fixes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance processes and testing standards.
