Responsibilities

• Review and validate all outbound campaigns before deployment; content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements.
• Verify audience targeting, segmentation, and suppression lists against specs.
• Confirm data integrity; render of merge tags and personalization fields for correct audiences.
• Check links, UTM parameters, and redirect destinations for accuracy.
• Validate platform configuration: send settings, throttling, scheduling, from name/address.
• Assess campaigns against brand, legal, and messaging strategy.
• Log defects in QA system; communicate findings to Development for resolution.
• Own QA sign-off gates in deployment workflow; campaigns deploy only with QA clearance.
• Review post-launch quality issues and feed findings into QA frameworks.
• Maintain and improve QA docs, checklists, and testing standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Marketing QA Analyst to review and validate outbound email campaigns before they reach customers.

MUST HAVES

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in QA, marketing operations, or digital campaign review.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and QA workflows.
• Strong analytical eye — able to catch discrepancies in data, copy, and configuration that others miss.
• Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting logic, and suppression requirements.
• Methodical, process-oriented approach; comfortable working from checklists and documented standards.
• Clear communicator — able to describe defects precisely and escalation risks without ambiguity.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS email rendering.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent enterprise ESP.
• Experience using defect tracking tools (Jira, or similar).
• Knowledge of AMPScript or dynamic content logic in campaign platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Maintain and improve QA documentation, checklists, and testing standards over time.
