Capgemini Engineering is looking for an experienced scheduling migration specialist to support large-scale migrations to IBM Z Workload Scheduler. The ideal candidate will lead the migration of batch scheduling workloads and analyze legacy scheduling definitions from various platforms.

Strong mainframe experience in OS/390 or z/OS, along with expertise in IBM Z Workload Scheduler, is essential. The role demands strong communication skills for collaboration and training of operational staff.

Formación

• Strong mainframe background in OS/390 or z/OS environments.
• Deep hands-on experience with IBM Z Workload Scheduler.
• Migration experience from various scheduling platforms to IBM scheduler.
• Strong TSO/ISPF editing skills and expert-level understanding of JCL.
• Experience with schedule validation and dependency analysis.
• Strong communication skills for technical collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support migration of batch scheduling workloads to IBM Z Workload Scheduler.
• Analyze legacy scheduling definitions and map to IBM scheduler structures.
• Monitor workload execution using TSO/ISPF and IBM scheduler interfaces.
• Provide technical guidance and training to scheduling teams.
