Job summary

Acclaro, a global localization and content intelligence company, seeks a Localization Project Coordinator to support the delivery of localization projects and programs across a diverse client base. You will coordinate workflows, maintain data, and ensure projects progress smoothly through the localization lifecycle.

This role suits highly organized professionals with 1+ year of experience in project coordination, administration, operations, or localization, who are eager to grow in localization

Qualifications

  • Experience in localization, translation, content operations, project support, or customer service.
  • Strong Excel, reporting, and data-management skills.
  • Fluency in English and other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers with coordination of project activities across multiple clients and workstreams.
  • Maintain accurate project information, client records, forecasts, trackers, dashboards, and operational data.
  • Prepare and distribute project instructions, glossaries, and supporting documentation to stakeholders.

YOUR NEXT ROLE

As a Localization Project Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of localization projects and Programs across a diverse range of clients, content types, and markets. Working under the guidance of Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers, you’ll help coordinate workflows, maintain accurate project data, support communication across stakeholders, and ensure that every project progresses smoothly through the localization lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in localization and Customer Success. You’ll develop a strong understanding of project delivery, client requirements, localization technology, and operational best practices while contributing directly to the quality, efficiency, and success of Acclaro’s services.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Project and Program support: Support Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers with the coordination of project and Program activities across multiple clients and workstreams.
  • Workflow coordination: Assist with project setup, task creation, workflow configuration, scheduling, handoffs, and milestone tracking to ensure projects move efficiently through the delivery process.
  • Data and system maintenance: Maintain accurate project information, client records, forecasts, trackers, dashboards, and operational data across all required systems.
  • Instruction preparation: Prepare, verify, and distribute project instructions, reference materials, glossaries, style guides, and supporting documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Vendor and linguist coordination: Support communication with linguists, vendors, publishers, and other contributors, ensuring requests, questions, and deliverables are managed promptly and accurately.
  • Monitoring and tracking: Monitor project progress, deadlines, and outstanding actions, escalating concerns or potential delays to the appropriate Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
  • Administrative support: Complete project administration activities including purchase order processing, invoicing support, file management, status updates, reporting inputs, and documentation management.
  • Quality support: Assist with quality‑control activities, file verification, project checks, and process compliance reviews to help ensure delivery standards are met.
  • Technology utilization: Use translation management systems, workflow platforms, reporting tools, automation capabilities, and AI‑enabled solutions as directed to support efficient project delivery.
  • Issue triage: Respond to routine operational questions, route issues to the appropriate stakeholder, and ensure inquiries are addressed within expected timelines.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with Project Management, Vendor Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other internal teams to support delivery requirements.
  • Client support: Assist with client communications, meeting preparation, documentation, reporting, follow‑up actions, and routine requests as directed by project leadership.
  • Process adherence: Follow established workflows, client requirements, security practices, and operational procedures consistently and accurately.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and strengthen operational processes, sharing suggestions with project leadership.
  • Independent ownership of defined tasks: Take responsibility for completing assigned activities accurately, professionally, and on time, seeking guidance when required and escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Development and learning: Build expertise in localization processes, project management, customer service, and Acclaro technologies to support future career progression.
  • Project ownership (where appropriate): Depending on experience, manage lower‑complexity projects under defined guidelines and with appropriate oversight.
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU
  • Communicate clearly, confidently & professionally in written and spoken English
  • Have 1+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, operations, customer service, localization, or a similar environment.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, high‑quality work.
  • Are highly organized and can manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, partners, and clients.
  • Are comfortable following established processes while adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through on commitments.
  • Can identify issues, ask thoughtful questions, and seek guidance when needed.

YOU’LL STAND OUT IF YOU
  • Have experience in localization, translation, content operations, project support, or customer service environments.
  • Have experience using translation management systems, workflow platforms, or project management tools.
  • Have strong Excel, reporting, or data‑management skills.
  • Have supported multiple stakeholders or concurrent projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Have experience preparing reports, dashboards, project documentation, or operational trackers.
  • Have contributed ideas that improved efficiency, quality, or consistency.
  • Are fluent in one or more languages in addition to English.
  • Have experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in progressing into Project Management or Customer Success roles.
  • Know your way around or shown an interest in Translation Management Systems.
