Jan De Nul Group in Argentina seeks a Technical Superintendent – Vessel Maintenance to ensure the safe, efficient operation of our dredging vessels and equipment. You will coordinate maintenance, review reports, manage spare parts, and support vessel mobilization, working with crews, project teams and suppliers.

The role is based in Buenos Aires, with rotation across Argentina and six-day weeks during on-site periods.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electromechanical.
• Fluent Spanish and solid working knowledge of English.
• You live in Buenos Aires and are entitled to work there.
• Interest in vessel maintenance and maritime operations.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams.
• Willingness to be on projects across Argentina.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for vessels and equipment.
• Review technical reports, repair lists and resource requirements.
• Prepare and follow up on repair, reconstruction and renewal projects.
• Monitor spare-parts requirements and stock management.
• Support vessel mobilization and demobilization activities.
• Supervise technical personnel on board and at project sites.
• Prepare spare-parts lists for dry-docking and conversions.
• Coordinate technical specs and maintenance planning.
• Work with Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
