Job summary

Jan De Nul Group in Argentina seeks a superintendent engineer to guide dredging projects on site and on board, with a minimum of three days on site weekly. You will plan, supervise and coordinate daily dredging, survey and dumping operations, and report progress and KPIs to the project team.

You will lead health, safety and environmental practices, manage crew changes and logistics, and serve as the main contact for clients, surveyors and authorities while mentoring the crew and coordinating

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or related master’s degree
• Strong planning and organisational talents
• Ability to lead teams and work independently
• Willingness to live and work in Argentina on a permanent basis (DNI or permanent residency)

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate daily dredging, survey and dumping operations
• Lead health, safety and environment initiatives; conduct toolbox talks and inspections
• Report production KPI data and coordinate with project team
• Act as main client/surveyor/authorities contact and supervise crew
• Organise crew changes, rotations, visas and logistics with the office
