EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead TypeScript+Node.js Developer to drive backend services for an internal platform team. You will shape standards, integrate ELK, JIRA Service Desk, and Jenkins/CICD into Backstage, and enable Terraform execution while collaborating across distributed teams.

You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure production-grade TypeScript solutions with cloud deployments. Strong English (B2+) is required for global collaboration.

Formación

• 5+ years of Node.js backend development.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript for production-grade services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, web application hosting, and deployment.
• Ability to work independently with distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, including Agents, Skills, MCP, and AI productivity workflows.
• English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) level.

You will shape standards, integrate ELK, JIRA Service Desk, and Jenkins/CICD into Backstage, and enable Terraform execution while working across distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Working familiarity with GitHub Copilot AI-assisted development, including agents, skills, and MCP
• Experience with spec-driven development frameworks such as SpecKit or BMAD
• Exposure to developer portals, platform engineering, or internal tooling
• Knowledge of ELK Stack
• Familiarity with Backstage.io and Terraform
