EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead TypeScript+Node.js Developer to drive backend services for an internal platform team. You will shape standards, integrate ELK, JIRA Service Desk, and Jenkins/CICD into Backstage, and enable Terraform execution while collaborating across distributed teams.

You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure production-grade TypeScript solutions with cloud deployments. Strong English (B2+) is required for global collaboration.

Formación

• 5+ years of Node.js backend development.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript for production-grade services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, web application hosting, and deployment.
• Ability to work independently with distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, including Agents, Skills, MCP, and AI productivity workflows.
• English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) level.

Responsabilidades

• Define frontend architecture decisions, including component structure, state management, TypeScript standards, and performance.
• Practice spec-driven development by starting each feature from a spec and keeping implementations traceable to it.
• Lead technically by reviewing code, setting frontend standards, and mentoring other engineers.
• Integrate ELK entities into the Backstage catalog.
• Add Backstage extensions and templates and create render scripts.
• Implement a capability to run Terraform scripts.
• Connect JIRA Service Desk capabilities into Backstage.
• Integrate Jenkins/CICD capabilities into Backstage.
• Coordinate independently with distributed, cross-functional teams.
