Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Data & Analytics Developer to build Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that transform enterprise data into actionable business insights.

You will work with dimensional data, Snowflake, and SAP data sources to deliver scalable analytics across enterprise platforms, collaborating with stakeholders and IT in a distributed setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
• Strong SQL skills with relational and analytical data.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Experience with SAP HANA, SAP data, or SAP-based source systems.
• Experience with data modeling, transformation, and integration concepts.
• Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
• Ability to translate business processes into data requirements and work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand KPIs, data definitions, and analytical needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports delivering actionable insights.
• Translate requirements into data models, metrics, and visuals.
• Collaborate with IT and data owners to identify data needs and coordinate availability.
• Support onboarding and integration of data from sources like Snowflake and SAP HANA.
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues end-to-end across the data pipeline.
• Promote reusable data models and standardized KPIs across business areas.
• Guide stakeholders on effective data visualization and analytics for decision making.
• Document data definitions, logic, KPIs, and solutions.
• Work in an Agile environment with distributed/remote teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, KPIs, data definitions, and analytical needs.


• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable business insights.


• Translate business requirements into appropriate data models, metrics, visualizations, and reporting solutions.


• Work with IT and source-system owners to identify required data, understand source structures, and coordinate data availability.


• Support the onboarding and integration of data into the enterprise data platform, including Snowflake and SAP HANA data sources.


• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues across the complete flow from source system → data platform → semantic/model layer → Power BI.


• Collaborate with business data owners and technical teams to improve data consistency, quality, and reliability.


• Promote reusable data models, common KPI definitions, and scalable analytics solutions instead of isolated reports.


• Provide guidance to stakeholders on effective data visualization and the use of analytics to support decision-making.


• Document data definitions, reporting logic, KPIs, and technical solutions.


• Work in an Agile delivery environment and collaborate with distributed and remote teams.
