Redtree Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team and lead design and execution of complex power systems projects for national and international clients.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform studies such as load flow and short-circuit analyses, ensure compliance with industry codes, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and partners. Hybrid work options are available.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering projects.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated experience in electrical power systems design and engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the electrical engineering scope for national and international projects.
• Develop and review electrical design deliverables and schematics.
• Prepare and review one-line diagrams and equipment layouts.
• Design and specify HV/LV electrical systems including substations and switchgear.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and partners for project execution.
• Perform electrical studies such as load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination.
• Support multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated engineering solutions.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to high-impact national and international projects. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, lead technical electrical engineering activities, mentor junior engineers, and support innovative power generation and infrastructure projects.

Position Overview

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will join our Electrical Engineering team and play a key role in the technical development, design, and execution of complex engineering projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and take ownership of engineering deliverables while providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering scope for national and international projects.
• Develop and review electrical engineering designs and technical deliverables.
• Prepare and review one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, equipment layouts, and design documentation.
• Design and specify medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, grounding systems, and protection and control systems.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and strategic partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Perform electrical studies, including load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, protection coordination, grounding, and related analyses.
• Support multidisciplinary project teams to develop integrated and constructible engineering solutions.
• Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, codes, and client specifications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering projects.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated experience in electrical power systems design and engineering.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

We highly value candidates with experience in:

• Industrial facilities, renewable energy projects, substations, or combined-cycle power plants.
• Leading or coordinating engineering teams and technical disciplines.
• GIS (Gas Insulated Substation) projects.
• Electrical power system analysis and design tools such as ETAP, PowerWorld, SIMSEE, or AutoCAD.
• ANSI and ISO standards and regulations.
• Working in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
