Entergy Arkansas, LLC is seeking an Apprentice 4th Year - Journeyman Lineman in the El Dorado, AR area. The role focuses on constructing, building, and maintaining OH/UG electric facilities up to 15 kV with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The position requires physical ability, adherence to safety, and readiness for extended hours, including potential travel up to 25%. A pre-employment fitness exam is required, with the option to relocate not offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform tasks with physical strength in all weather conditions.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork to operate with crews.
• Ability to take and follow directions with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Install, remove and maintain OH/UG primary line facilities and secondary services.
• Install OH/UG transformers and wiring of transformer banks.
• Wire regulators, capacitors, and reclosers; operate associated equipment.
• Drive various trucks and operate bucket or digger derrick equipment.
• Read job prints and sketches; identify materials and their function.
• Set and climb poles in diverse environments; be on-call for emergencies.
