Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Wind Turbine Tech II to inspect, troubleshoot, install components, and repair wind turbines and related systems. The role involves leading maintenance crews, mentoring Tech I staff, and ensuring timely return to service after faults.

Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, performing electrical tests, and documenting all activities. This position requires travel up to 25% and comfort with heights and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant wind energy experience or related field.
• AS Degree (electrical or technical) with 1+ year of related experience or training.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Proficient with electrical test equipment (DMM, megger, calibration tools).
• Experience with wind farm operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment to maximize generation.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot minor components; assist with major components.
• Perform current/voltage calculations; prepare maintenance reports.
• Complete LOTO, JSA, and site documentation for safe maintenance.
• Mentor and support junior technicians; participate in on-site training.
