Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will implement observable, secure and fault‑tolerant solutions and provide technical leadership across multiple teams and domains.

This role requires 6+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise networks, servers, storage, firewalls, and cloud (AWS/Azure), plus SOX experience, AD, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands‑on engineering experience with enterprise networks, servers and storage.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment and software.
• Strong with firewalls, switches, and wireless infra (physical and virtual).
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Server OS & Active Directory.
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure, cloud-first approach.
• SOX regulated environment experience.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Office 365 suite experience and collaboration tools.
• Vigilant about patch deployment and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony and systems.
• Implement secure, observable and fault‑tolerant architectures.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and domains.
• Serve as escalation point for day-to-day operations.
• Plan and execute infrastructure projects across the enterprise.
• Lead infrastructure and application projects with vendors and MSPs.
• Manage device lifecycle, vulnerabilities, firmware upgrades and decommissioning.
• Support global operations including remote and office-based teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on-premise and cloud environments.

MUST HAVES

• 6+ years of hands‑on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems.
• Network Equipment Experience: hands‑on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment and software.
• Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure (Physical and Virtual).
• Extensive knowledge and hands‑on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.
• Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure) with cloud first approach.
• Experience working in a SOX regulated company a must.
• Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with patch deployment required.
• Self‑sufficient, self‑managed, self‑motivated, must be effective working independently.
• A service‑oriented mindset with a focus on creating value for our internal customers and business partners.

• Minimum AA degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.
• AWS/Azure Certifications a plus.
• Experience with network and systems monitoring a plus.
• Experience with ITIL a plus.
• Experience with Linux a plus.
• Previous experience in healthcare, life‑science, pharma or bio company a plus.

• Vendor management and interaction for hardware, software, and service troubleshooting and resolution.
• Help define and execute the strategy for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise.
• Support global operations for remote, manufacturing and office‑based workforces.
