Job Duties

Under strict supervision, performs configuration, installation and/or repairs of PC hardware and peripherals according to established procedures. Contacts end user to define data migration requirements and perform the data migration, if required. Monitors for trouble tickets and coordinates with appropriate vendors for equipment repair, if needed. Adheres to and enforces facility security measures, company safety standards and software licensing procedures. Assists in setting up PC&aposs and related peripherals for special requests. Lends guidance to desktop support teams on hardware related issues. Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed. Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization. Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected. Skills are typically acquired through possession of a A+ certification or equivalent experience and 2 years of experience in a PC related field which includes experience in hardware configuration.

Qualifications

• Computer Science Engineer, Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or a simliar university degree.
• 2 years of experience configuring hardware and software, repairing computer equipment, configuring and using networks, structured cabling, telecommunications equipment, radios, and connectivity; knowledge of Office 365 platforms, video conferencing, and providing in-person and remote customer support and assistance
• English level: Advanced
• Full time in location
