Job summary

Jan De Nul Group seeks a skilled Hydrographic Surveyor for its Argentina projects. Based in Bahía Blanca, you will plan and execute topographic and bathymetric surveys, install and calibrate survey gear, and ensure data accuracy across dredging works.

You will use state-of-the-art equipment and software, convert project drawings into designs, and maintain equipment while coordinating with the Project Survey Manager. Willingness to travel across Argentina is required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Hydrography, Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering or related field.
• Experience as a Surveyor or Hydrographer.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and procedures.
• Fluent in Spanish; proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute topographic and bathymetric surveys at various sites.
• Surveying and inspecting completed and planned works.
• Convert project drawings into designs according to project requirements.
• Install, calibrate and operate survey equipment, instruments and software.
• Ensure proper data collection, recording and quality control.

You determine the most suitable sounding method, perform the measurements and produce maps with specialised software.
