Job summary

Jan De Nul is seeking a Hydrographic Surveyor to organize and perform hydrographic and topographic measurements for dredging projects. You will determine soundings, run measurements, and produce maps with specialized software, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

The role is based in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, with travel across the country for projects. Requirements include a technical degree in hydrography or related field and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Experience in surveying, hydrography, topography or similar roles.
• Proficient with topographic and hydrographic survey software and systems.
• Fluent Spanish and solid working knowledge of English.
• Based in Bahía Blanca and eligible to work in Argentina.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute topographic and bathymetric surveys at various sites.
• Survey and inspect completed and planned works.
• Convert project drawings into designs per requirements.
• Install, calibrate and operate survey equipment and software.
