Alignerr is seeking an experienced Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst for AI training. This fully remote, hourly contract role focuses on evaluating security controls, policies, and risk contexts to shape how AI models reason about governance frameworks and audit processes.

You will analyze frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST; generate data for training; provide precise written feedback; and work independently on a flexible schedule.

Formación

• 2+ years hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, or similar.
• Ability to read and critique policy and audit-style documentation.
• Strong written reasoning and analytical communication skills.

Responsabilidades

About The Role

We're looking for experienced GRC professionals to help build and evaluate AI systems that reason about security, compliance, and risk. Your real-world expertise will directly shape how frontier AI models understand governance frameworks, audit processes, and control environments — making a tangible impact on the future of AI in the security domain.

This is a flexible, remote contract role that lets you apply your professional knowledge in an entirely new and exciting context.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate compliance scenarios involving frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation
• Generate and validate training and evaluation data used to improve AI reasoning on GRC topics
• Provide structured, precise written feedback that helps AI systems learn from expert judgment
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management
• Solid familiarity with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, or similar
• Comfortable reading, interpreting, and critiquing policy and audit-style documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning and analytical communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision
• No prior AI experience required — your domain expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

• Experience in data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation workflows
• Background in information security, IT audit, or enterprise risk management
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model outputs
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP
