Placements24 is seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead operations in Sandton, overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution. You will develop frameworks to optimize flow of goods and information, manage supplier relationships, and mitigate risks across the supply chain.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years in progressive supply chain roles, strong leadership, and expertise with ERP and SCM software to drive efficiency and savings for a leading organization
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years in progressive supply chain roles.
- Proven experience with ERP systems and SCM software.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, procurement and inventory control.
Responsabilidades
- Develop end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics providers.
- Implement inventory management systems and optimize stock levels.
- Analyze performance data to drive efficiency improvements.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team fostering continuous improvement.
