Placements24 seeks a visionary Corporate Communications Director to lead a comprehensive strategy from a Sandton headquarters. This executive role shapes and protects the company’s global image, managing internal and external communications and aligning messaging with strategic objectives.

You will oversee a team, drive impactful campaigns, and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership, influencing brand perception in South Africa and internationally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to develop and implement global communication strategies.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and crisis management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute an overarching corporate communications strategy that supports business goals and enhances brand reputation globally.
• Oversee all internal and external communications, including media relations, investor relations, public affairs, and employee communications.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing communications team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Manage crisis communications and develop proactive strategies to mitigate reputational risks.
• Serve as a key advisor to the executive leadership team on all communication matters.
• Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging across all touchpoints and platforms.
• Manage the corporate communications budget and oversee relationships with external agencies.
