South32 is seeking a Geology Field Logistics Technician for the Hermosa Project site near Patagonia, Arizona. You will support geology and technical services activities, ensuring safety and quality control while handling samples from collection to disposal.

Responsibilities include field safety leadership, hazard identification, equipment coordination, and collaboration with vendors and supervisors to keep field operations running smoothly in a seven-day rotating schedule.

Formación

• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar environment.
• English language written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating day-shift schedule providing seven-day coverage.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and field safety leadership.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High standards of professional and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle diverse work cultures.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safe practices in alignment with South32 Hermosa standards and core values.
• Drive zero harm workplace through visible felt leadership, stop work authority, and other safety programs.
• Upholds safety and environmental standards and compliance.
• Field engagement/interactions, hazard identification (safety and environmental) and mitigation with reporting through G360.
• Performs work in support of collection, processing, storage, shipping, cataloguing and disposal of geological samples.
• Participates in mandatory and necessary training as required.
• Participates in regular one-on-one review meetings with supervisor(s).
• Attends and participates in all relevant meetings.
• Interacts with vendors for the delivery of equipment and materials and collection of geological samples for processing.
• Field activities in support of the broader Hermosa Project as required.
