BetWarrior is seeking a Technical Lead – Frontend Infrastructure to own the core architecture of our web-based and mobile-embedded platform. You’ll shape a single codebase for multiple brands, manage build pipelines, and align with DevOps on scalable frontend delivery.

You’ll collaborate with native and web teams to ensure secure geolocation, OTA updates, and performance optimizations, while maintaining reliability for a regulated real‑money product.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture for a high-traffic, real‑money or high‑stakes platform.
• Proven in production Next.js applications at scale.
• Experience designing multi‑tenant or multi‑brand frontend architectures.
• Familiarity with mobile wrappers (Capacitor) for embedding web apps into mobile shells.
• Experience implementing anti‑spoofing geolocation for regulated apps.
• Experience with OTA update tooling and safe versioning for live sessions.
• Track record designing for reliability and resilience in production systems.
• Comfort working at the infrastructure layer: deployment architecture and build tooling.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to influence technical direction with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and own core frontend infrastructure (Next.js) including build pipeline and deployment architecture.
• Define and implement multi-brand / multi-tenant architecture across a single codebase.
• Own the mobile wrapper strategy and web-to-native integration.
• Collaborate on multi-brand binary distribution with Fastlane, Xcode Schemes, and Gradle Flavors.
• Decide Next.js rendering strategy for mobile-embedded context (static exports, edge API).
• Architect decoupled business logic, state management, and networking from UI; drive technical decisions.
• Implement compliant geolocation for regulated betting.
• Ensure app meets app store requirements through robust native functionality.
• Define safe OTA update strategy and versioning for live sessions.
• Integrate observability tools (Sentry, Datadog) linking native and JS errors.
• Drive frontend performance (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse) and resilience.
• Partner with DevOps on frontend CI/CD and build pipelines.
• Define frontend standards, tooling, and best practices.
• Integrate with backend and third-party systems at infra level.
• Coordinate with AWS, security, and cost optimization teams.
• Document architectural decisions for transferability.
