Qualifications

• Must have relevant academic qualifications. Eg College certificate/diploma; Five+ years of experience in mechanical field service required.
• Skilled and knowledgeable in removal, repair, and installation of single stage and multistage pumps, and in operation of rotating equipment.
• Experience in chemical, power, and/or oil and gas industries strongly preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience that demonstrates ability to lead, motivate, and develop others, highly preferred.
• Ability to develop and sustain a vision of technical excellence and customer service shared by the team.
• Collaborative style that encourages communication, removes obstacles, and promotes teamwork.
• Remain calm under challenges, deadlines and maintain professionalism.
• Communicate effectively, orally or in writing, conveying difficult messages when required.

• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a culture of ongoing development for yourself and individuals within the team; ensure trained Field Service Technicians to support all equipment and develop training plans.
• Recruit and retain a global, diverse workforce; ensure succession plans for critical roles.
• Support SHEA culture to reduce injuries and maintain a safe environment; assist in hazard identification and sharing results.
• Provide first line supervision to Field Service Technicians; review Field Service Reports and identify upgrade opportunities.
• Coordinate with Sales/Commercial Operations to update opportunities; review team availability and competency.
• Complete AMP scheduling actions; ensure technicians can execute work instructions and that quotes are sound.
• Ensure technicians are trained on standard Field Service procedures, forms, and systems.
• Ensure tool calibration program exists and secure tools to perform activities; assist in capital planning for tools.
• Meet with Sales Team to engage targeted accounts; demonstrate capabilities and recent support impact.
• Discuss potential upgrades with FST; detect upgrades during missions; measure success in PT business.
• Drive down field service close-out cycle time, push for invoicing and receivables; review low-margin jobs.
• Collaborate on forecast preparation with FST Coordinator.
