BRG is seeking an Analyst or higher level for its Financial Institution Advisory practice in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role focuses on executing financial risk management projects, including credit risk, valuation, capital planning, stress-testing, and model risk management, in collaboration with senior professionals.

Candidates should have 2+ years in banking or consulting and strong data analysis, programming, and visualization skills (SQL, Python, SAS, R; PowerBI/Tableau).

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the banking or consulting industry (or a related field).
• Previous experience in risk management, internal controls, and/or audit roles, particularly in relation to the model management and usage.
• General knowledge of statistics.
• Experience in data analysis and the use of visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau).
• Advance proficiency in MS office, especially MS Excel.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, SAS, R).
• Understanding of risk management and model validation.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Work directly with senior professionals to execute various financial institution advisory projects related to financial risk management including credit risk, valuation, capital planning, and stress-testing, liquidity, resolution planning, and model risk management. Functional areas of work encompass regulatory, risk and controls; finance and accounting; technology enablement; and business process optimization.
• Works on data intensive projects, including analytics, governance, and manipulation, to support a variety of financial risk initiatives.
• Develop analyses and financial models using transactional data and/or financial data.
• Generate client deliverables and make valuable contributions to expert reports
• Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods and computer models to develop solutions.
• Prioritize assignments and responsibilities in order to meet goals and deadlines.
