Apex Controls is seeking a Journeyman Controls Electrician for a full-time, on-site role in Peru. The ideal candidate will read and interpret electrical schematics for controls automation and wire machinery and control panels, while applying meters and test equipment for troubleshooting.

Experience with National Electric Code, industrial electrical construction, and safety practices (lockout/tag-out, arc flash) is highly preferred. Weekend availability may be required in a team setting.

Formación

• Licensed journeyman electrician preferred; however, will accept fourth year electrical apprentice with the proper experience.
• Able to read electrical schematics for controls automation.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code is highly preferred.
• Experience wiring machinery and electrical control panels is preferred.
• Capable of using meters and test equipment for troubleshooting of electrical circuits is highly preferred.
• Understands safety requirements, including lockout/tag-out, arc flash practices, etc., is highly preferred.
• Experience in general industrial electrical construction, including installation of rigid metal conduit is preferred.
• Able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and direction is highly preferred.
• Dependable attendance habits and strong work ethic; may require weekend work.
• Team-oriented with engineers; customer service oriented is required.

• Understands appropriate safety requirements, including, lockout/tag-out, arc flash practices, etc. is highly preferred.
• Experienced in general industrial electrical construction, including installation of rigid metal conduit is preferred.
