RYZ Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and scale a high-impact engineering team. You will mentor engineers across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, shape technical direction, and drive architectural decisions.

The role involves travel to NYC, with the company covering costs, and a strong emphasis on hiring, culture, and delivery speed. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering leadership, deep software practices, and a track record of building high-performing teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in engineering management or technical leadership roles.
• Valid U.S. Travel Visa and passport, trips to NYC expected (costs covered).
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, architectures, and delivery workflows across web or platform teams.
• Ability to provide technical direction, review engineering decisions, and guide system design.
• Proven success in hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers across multiple seniority levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and coach engineers across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Partner with leads to define priorities, scope projects, and support planning.
• Facilitate architectural discussions and provide technical direction.
• Lead AI integration for the project and build AI tools to increase speed and efficiency.
• Ensure code quality, testing, documentation, and reliability.
• Oversee project execution: unblock teams, manage timelines, coordinate cross-functional efforts.
• Grow the team through hiring, onboarding, and building an inclusive culture.
• Refine engineering processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and 1:1s.
• Drive velocity, collaboration, and technical excellence, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leadership to define long-term technical strategy and scaling plans.
