AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an Elixir Engineer in Latin America with strong functional programming skills to build and evolve a growing software platform. You’ll work as part of a small, distributed team, collaborating with product managers to turn user problems into solid technical solutions.

The role emphasizes ownership of development tasks, production-quality code, and interfaces with internal and external services, including PostgreSQL data interactions.

Formación

• Proficient in Elixir or Erlang with production experience.
• Strong grasp of functional programming principles.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing, consuming, or maintaining APIs and integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and improve the software platform using Elixir.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team across the application.
• Translate user problems into technical solutions with product managers.
• Own development tasks from requirements to delivery.
• Develop integrations with internal/external services and APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL and the data layer of the app.
• Write reliable, well-tested production code and troubleshoot issues.
