AgileEngine is seeking an Elixir Engineer to build and improve a growing software platform as a core member of a compact team. You will work across the stack, collaborate with product managers, and own development from requirements to delivery.

You will contribute to API integrations, data layer work with PostgreSQL, and production-grade code. The role emphasizes ownership, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration in a distributed environment.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Elixir and/or Erlang.
• Strong understanding of functional programming principles.
• Professional experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience designing, consuming, or maintaining APIs and service integrations.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and modern development practices.
• Ability to independently own and deliver engineering tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; comfortable working across different areas of a product.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and improve the software platform using Elixir.
• Work across different areas of the application as part of a small engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to translate user problems into technical solutions.
• Contribute to implementation decisions and product discussions.
• Take ownership from requirements through delivery.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external services and APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL and the data layer.
• Write reliable, well-tested production code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application.
• Contribute to platform evolution and engineering practices as the product grows.
• Communicate progress and blockers clearly with the team.
