Zusammenfassung

Veta Virtual seeks an Accountant to support digital asset accounting and monthly close for a global fintech platform. You will manage crypto transactions, reconcile wallets, and contribute to financial reporting across thousands of kiosks and an OTC trading desk.

The role requires 2+ years' accounting, GAAP knowledge, and crypto familiarity. LATAM or Europe-based, remote work options available with competitive USD salary.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience with journal entries and month-end close.
• Crypto and blockchain fundamentals knowledge required.
• Solid GAAP and financial accounting understanding.
• Excel proficiency for reconciliations and reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Based in LATAM or Europe.

Aufgaben

• Support monthly close and prepare journal entries.
• Maintain crypto asset ledgers and perform FMV calculations.
• Reconcile wallet balances with blockchain data and subledgers.
• Prepare financial reporting schedules and audit support packages.
• Develop spreadsheet reports and perform variance analyses.
• Assist in SOP development and cross-functional accounting processes.
• Analyze accounting policies and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on processes.
