Met T&S, the Global Employment Company of MAIRE group, is seeking a Construction Quality Manager (QAM) to oversee QA/QC on major industrial and infrastructure projects in Argentina and the wider South American region. The role requires fluency in Spanish and English, with experience managing EPC and energy projects and coordinating across multi-country teams.

Responsibilities include ensuring Site Quality Plan adequacy, supervising NDT and inspection activities, reviewing subcontractor quality

Formación

• Fluency in Spanish (mandatory) and English is required.
• Experience managing large industrial, EPC, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of South American construction environments, contractors, and regulations.
• Ability to work in multicultural, international project teams.
• Willingness to support projects across Argentina and the region.
• QA/QC leadership for major projects with complex contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Site Quality Plan adequacy and application at Site.
• Verify NDT, Welding Inspectors, Painting & Corrosion Inspectors activities.
• Prepare test, inspection reports and books.
• Review subcontractors' quality systems and procedures.
• Check information flow and documents like inspection requests.
• Identify organizational defects and coordinate corrective actions with Site Manager.
• Plan and perform periodic audits on subcontractors.
• Prepare own section of the Project Monthly report.
• Report to the Site Construction Manager.

• Have experience managing large industrial, EPC, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure construction sites.
• Understand local South American construction environments, contractors, and regulations.
• Are comfortable working in multicultural and international project teams.
• Are willing to support projects across Argentina and other countries in the region when required.
• The Construction Quality Manager (QAM) is appointed for major projects or for projects of particular difficulty due to the size or to the complex contractual structure, like Consortium or Joint Venture (where the Company has the leadership role).
• His/her main responsibility is to keep relations with Partners and Client to ensure that QA/QC Plan and procedures are correctly applied by all members of Consortium (if any), verify the uniformity and coordination among all members and ensure uniformity and coherence.

Activities and main responsibilities

• Ensure Site Quality Plan adequacy and application at Site, arranging any reviews, if required;
• Verify Non Destructive Test, Welding Inspectors activities, Painting & Corrosion Inspectors activities and quality control site team activities
• Ensure the proper preparation of the test, inspection reports and books
• Review Subcontractors' site Quality System, Quality Organization and procedures
• Check the flow of information and documents, for example Request for Inspections, follow up of the activities with subcontractors, non-conformities;
• Identify any organizational or procedural defect, analyzing critical points, arranging any corrective action together with the Site Manager and informing the home office pertinent departments;
• Plan and perform periodical Audit on Subcontractors activities.
• Prepare his/her own section of the Project Monthly report.

The Construction Quality Manager operatively reports to the Site Construction Manager
