Job summary

Worley, a global energy, chemicals and resources company, seeks a Construction Director to lead large-scale mining projects. You will oversee on-site execution across civil, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines, ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence.

The role requires 20+ years in EPC/EPCM projects with CAPEX of 1 BUSD+, strong constructability integration, and Spanish fluency, driving a zero-incident culture and digital delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Civil Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Minimum 20 years of EPC/EPCM project experience in Mining, Energy or Oil & Gas.
• Experience leading EPC/EPCM projects with CAPEX of 1 BUSD or higher.
• Proven experience across all project phases: Detailed Engineering to Commissioning.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Strong leadership in Detailed Engineering and Construction Execution.
• Excellence in safety and HSEC management.
• Ability to integrate constructability early and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Detailed Engineering involvement: integrate constructability to identify risks and sequencing.
• Planning and direction: define execution strategies, methodologies, and sequences.
• Construction execution: lead on-site work across all disciplines and ensure milestones.
• Leadership and teams: manage multi-disciplinary teams and foster safety and performance.
• Cost and schedule control: monitor KPIs and apply corrective actions.
• Stakeholder relations: serve as client liaison and coordinate with authorities.
