Sovos Compliance busca un Compliance Services Associate para entregar servicios de cumplimiento tributario a clientes gestionados. Serás un recurso de confianza y extensión del entorno de cumplimiento fiscal del cliente, manejando importaciones de datos, conciliaciones y resolviendo incidencias.

El rol requiere motivación propia, excelentes habilidades de servicio al cliente y alta precisión, con viajes mínimos y capacidad de aprender rápidamente nuestras soluciones.

Formación

• Se requiere experiencia en servicio al cliente o soporte.
• Habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita con audiencias técnicas y no técnicas.
• Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente en un entorno dinámico y rápido.

Responsabilidades

• Entregar servicios a clientes utilizando soluciones de información tributaria (1099), ACA, FATCA y otros software de reporte.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento ante autoridades fiscales y procedimientos internos.
• Interaccionar directamente con clientes de Sovos para entrega de servicios y resolución de incidencias.
• Apoyar en conciliaciones, investigaciones y tareas asignadas por el Supervisor o Manager.
• Identificar mejoras de procesos e participar en proyectos de eficiencia interna.

Compliance Services Associate

Department: Compliance Services

Position Overview

The Compliance Services Associate Is responsible for delivering tax compliance services to Managed Services clients. As a trusted resource and extension of our client’s tax compliance environment, this role performs tasks such as data imports and reconciliation, management of regulatory tax deadlines, and provides problem resolution. Individuals in this position are self-motivated with strong client service and organization skills as well as a high level of accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver client services utilizing Sovos’ Tax Information Reporting (1099), Affordable Care Act, Sales and Use Tax Reporting, FATCA, Unclaimed Property, and/or Certificate Management software

• Ensure compliance with applicable taxing authorities (IRS, State and Local Governments) and client-specified procedures by adhering to internal policies and procedures

• Interact directly with Sovos clients on a regular basis as part of service delivery and issue resolution

• Support Compliance Services Representatives with reconciliation, research, and other tasks as directed

• Assist in identifying and resolving issues as directed by the Compliance Services Representative, Supervisor, or Manager

• Identify process improvements and offer suggestions to build internal efficiencies and reduce risk and participate in internal process improvement projects

• Ensures internal policies and procedures are adhered to based on established guidelines

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Organizational Alignment

• Reports to Compliance Services Supervisor

• This position has no direct supervisory reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience

• Basic computer software knowledge; strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Ability to learn quickly and become an expert on our software and services

• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on listening and documenting client needs

• Effective communication skills (verbal and written) to both technical and non- technical audiences

• Detail oriented and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Previous client support / service experience preferred
