Job summary

Baker Hughes in Argentina is seeking a Sales Advisor - Technical Sales for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will lead the commercial strategy, drive growth through deep technical knowledge and strong customer engagement, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.

Collaborating with operations, engineering and product lines, you will present technical value, optimize service delivery, and pursue cross-sell opportunities across bits,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in Vaca Muerta or other shale basins.
• Proven ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement.
• Excellent communication skills translating technical information into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, contracts.
• Build relationships with operators (YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex) and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
