Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve cloud-native platform capabilities that power our enterprise data ecosystem from Buenos Aires. You will work with AWS, Snowflake, event-driven architectures, and AI-enabled tooling to deliver scalable, automated solutions for thousands of users.

Formación

• Hands-on experience designing cloud-native solutions on AWS and Snowflake.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, SQS, SNS, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, resiliency, and scalability.
• Production-grade software with Java, Python and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and observability.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native platform services on AWS and Snowflake.
• Develop scalable software for data ingestion, integration, processing, and consumption.
• Design event-driven architectures using cloud-native messaging services.
• Build reusable platform components, APIs, frameworks, and accelerators.
• Automate platform provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Contribute to architecture, standards, and engineering best practices.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
• Implement observability, logging, and alerting across services.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, security, and stakeholders.
• Apply AI-assisted development to improve productivity and code quality.
• Troubleshoot platform, integration, and operational issues.
• Continuously improve reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
