Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Capacity Planner in Don Torcuato, Argentina, operating in a hybrid work model. You will drive end-to-end capacity and production planning, balancing demand, capacity, and material availability while coordinating with manufacturing, material planning and customer service to meet delivery commitments.

You will also support planning across other markets, including Brazil and Colombia, contributing to smarter, more agile planning processes and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics or related fields.
• Advanced English proficiency with global stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP and MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Kinaxis knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review new customer orders and assess their impact on production capacity and planning priorities.
• Develop and maintain production plans based on demand, capacity, material availability and delivery requirements.
• Partner closely with Manufacturing to monitor plan execution and adjust priorities as needed.
• Collaborate with Material Planning and Logistics to monitor critical raw material availability and mitigate supply risks.
• Identify and evaluate alternative materials or solutions to minimize impacts on production and deliveries.
• Review material forecasts and ensure alignment between demand and material availability.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve issues and drive continuous improvements.
