Job summary

Political Asylum Lawyers is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) professional to serve as the primary client contact, engaging with clients daily and supporting attorneys and paralegals throughout representation.

You will manage client communications, keep case development on track, and coordinate scheduling, reminders, and document requests to ensure timely progress in immigration matters.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English; communication skills essential.
• Commitment to the firm’s mission of helping immigrants secure their future in the United States through asylum
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Work closely with attorneys and staff to serve clients.
• Be the main client contact, supporting attorneys and paralegals in engaging clients throughout the representation.
• Bridge between clients and the legal team: surface questions and relay guidance clearly.
• Return calls and reply to emails from clients and potential clients.
• Provide status updates so clients understand where their case stands and what comes next.
• Set and manage clear expectations with clients about timelines and requirements.
• Coordinate case logistics: scheduling appointments and reminders.
• Proactively manage cases to ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain tracking systems to prevent clients from falling through the cracks.
• Compile and submit filings to immigration agencies.
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
• Contribute to development and improvement of company protocols
