Job summary

Avenga is seeking a Middle Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team focused on banking solutions. You will design, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests to ensure high quality across critical applications. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to improve coverage and release quality.

You will advance automation frameworks, implement Page Object Model patterns, and contribute to defect analysis and testing standards in an international LATAM environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of QA with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on Python for test automation development.
• Strong knowledge of pytest and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and banking platforms.
• Execute functional, manual, and regression testing activities to validate product quality.
• Analyze, document, and track defects while working with development teams on issue resolution.
• Improve and maintain automation frameworks using Python, pytest, and Playwright.
• Develop reusable test components utilizing Page Object Model and fixture-based approaches.
• Validate new features, system enhancements, and production fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality software deliveries.
