Avenga is seeking a Middle Automation QA Engineer to strengthen our quality engineering team supporting banking solutions. You will design, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests across the full lifecycle, ensuring reliability and stability of business-critical applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Experience with Gherkin and behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions and correlate to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate risks to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
