Job summary

Avenga is seeking a Middle Automation QA Engineer to strengthen its QA team supporting banking solutions. You will design, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scenarios across the full testing lifecycle to ensure quality and reliability of critical applications.

You will work with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to improve test coverage, enhance automation frameworks, and ensure seamless releases through comprehensive functional and regression testing activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Python for test automation development.
• Strong knowledge of pytest and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright.
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Page Object Model (POM) frameworks and fixtures.
• Strong experience executing regression tests and validating application functionality.
• Experience performing defect analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and banking platforms.
• Execute functional, manual, and regression testing activities to validate product quality.
• Analyze, document, and track defects while working closely with development teams on issue resolution.
• Improve and maintain automation frameworks using Python, pytest, and Playwright.
• Develop reusable test components utilizing Page Object Model and fixture-based approaches.
• Validate new features, system enhancements, and production fixes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance processes and testing standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality software deliveries.
