Cashea is seeking an Engineering Lead to drive backend architecture and technical strategy in a fast-growing fintech startup. You will own backend services built with Node.js and NestJS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance while mentoring a team of developers.

Based in Buenos Aires, you will collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps to align technical solutions with business goals, and help guide hiring and growth of the engineering squad.

Formación

• 5+ years in backend development with leadership experience.
• Proficient in Node.js and NestJS (Express) for scalable apps.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Engineering lead within a squad guiding architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with frontend leads for backend-frontend integration.
• Lead technical strategy for backend development ensuring scalability.
• Own backend architecture and design and enforce best practices.
• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
• Drive innovation and adopt new technologies to improve processes.
• Ensure reliability through testing, monitoring, and logging.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, DevOps, and teams.
• Mentor backend developers and promote technical excellence.
• Oversee deployments and production operations for high availability.
• Participate in hiring processes to attract talent.
