Dialpad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, seeks a Manager of AI Transformation Engineering to serve as the technical anchor for the AIT team. This lead-from-the-front role sets engineering standards, guides complex implementations, and owns the technical quality of all shipped AI systems.

You will upskill analysts and junior engineers, coaching them to build AI engineering depth for reliable production systems. The role reports to the Senior Manager of AI Transformation and requires US overlap hours

Formación

• 8+ years of software/ML engineering experience.
• Hands-on production experience with LLM-powered systems.
• 1–3 years of management experience.
• Strong Python coding, review, and debugging skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.

Responsabilidades

• Set engineering standards and evaluation frameworks for production systems.
• Design and implement AI-powered systems and workflows from spec to production.
• Upskill analysts and junior engineers on AI engineering fundamentals.
• Own the team's technical tooling decisions and promote reliability.
• Get hands-on coding when needed and translate business problems into technical specs.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Sales, CX, Finance, and Operations to build robust AI solutions.
• Define AI evaluation practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Shape the technical roadmap with the AI Transformation Manager.
• Proactively address technical debt to maintain reliability.
